Serves 2
Ingredients
2 tablespoons of butter
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 large cloves garlic, minced
¼ cup chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
juice of ½ lemon
½ cup dry white wine
pinch of dried hot red pepper flakes
salt and black pepper to taste
1 pound large shrimp, shelled and deveined
Instructions
Heat the butter and oil in a heavy skillet over medium heat until the foam subsides. Add the garlic, parsley, lemon juice, wine, pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, lower the heat, and simmer for 3 minutes. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook, stirring frequently, for 5 to 6 minutes, until the shrimp are pink. Remove from the heat. Place the shrimp on a serving plate and pour the sauce from the skillet over them. Serve immediately.
