Guacamole

Total carbohydrates: 20.5 grams

Per serving: 10.3 grams

Serves 2

 

Ingredients

 1 Haas avocado, cut into 3/8-inch cubes

1/3 cup finely chopped onion

1/3 cup copped tomato

1 teaspoon chopped jalapeno (optional)

3 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro

1 tablespoon fresh lime juice

1 tablespoon olive oil

salt and pepper to taste

 

Instructions

Combine the avocado, onion, tomato, jalapeno, if using, cilantro, lime juice, oil, salt and pepper in a bowl, and mix gently. Serve immediately or store, covered, in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
